Cement carrier UBC CYPRUS recently hosted a team of journalists - a writer and a photographer - from major American newspaper, The NY Times.

During the passage from Japan to the Philippines they spoke with the crew about life on board and took pictures for a feature story about Filipino seafarers. The focus of the article was on seafarers' individual stories and experiences.

The journalists thanked Captain and Crew and all those involved for the opportunity they were given.
